Abigail Glancy
Senior Architect

Abigail believes that great architecture begins with great listening. Her conviction that design can create healthy, sociable places — where both people and planet can thrive — shapes everything she does at Carter Gregson Gray, where she has led significant housing and retrofit projects across London whilst pioneering the integration of new technologies into the practice's working methods.

Educated at the Mackintosh School of Architecture and the LSA, her thesis confronting the intersecting crises of housing and climate was shortlisted for the national 3DReid Student Prize. Abigail brings rigour, warmth and a deeply collaborative spirit to her work and, as one of the most thoughtful architects of her generation, remains guided by a simple but profound belief: that the most vital skill any architect can possess is the ability to truly listen and then act with clarity, precision and integrity.
