Macarena studied architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and has collaborated on international projects in Lima, Barcelona, Tbilisi and Lisbon. In 2021, she graduated with distinction from the MA History and Critical Thinking at the Architectural Association and since, has become a tutor at the Programme for Writing and Essay Development in the March of Architecture & Urbanism (DRL).
Her background combines research and design with a particular focus on the intersection between history, material culture, craftsmanship and the built environment. Macarena is part of the CGG team since 2022.
